By affiliating your organisation to Omstella, your employees will have the opportunity for support both during employment, and in the event of redundancy, or when a fixed-term employment contract ends. There are two ways your organisation can affiliate:
Affiliation to Omstella through membership in Fremia:
Organisations that are affiliated to Fremia through collective agreements are automatically affiliated to Omstella. This is based on the main agreement that has been concluded between Fremia and PTK and has been adopted by the respective member unions.
Organisations that are automatically affiliated to Omstella will pay a fee of 0.65 percent of the total payroll. This fee is charged via Folksam simultaneously with other collectively agreed insurances. For questions regarding the invoice and other insurances besides the transition insurance, we refer you to Folksam.
Affiliation to Omstella through an application agreement signed with a PTK union:
Omstella may grant an organisation connection to Omstella through a so-called application agreement*, provided the following criteria are met:
- The organisation must have signed agreements for the necessary insurances and the applicable terms regarding working hours, salaries, and employment for white-collar workers as required by the PTK union with which the application agreement is signed.
- The organisation or the PTK union can send a negotiation protocol with an appendix on the negotiated application agreement or a customary agreement to Omstella via email (kontakt@omstella.se) confirming the aforementioned signed insurances.
The fee for organisations that have signed an application agreement but are not members of Fremia is 1.05 percent of the total payroll.
Omstella decides on membership and charge the fee via Folksam at the same time as other collectively agreed insurances are charged. For questions regarding the invoice and other insurances besides the transition insurance, we refer you to Folksam.
*Application Agreement
An application agreement means that an organisation has signed an agreement directly with a trade union, instead of entering into a collective agreement with the employer organisation who then negotiates the agreement on behalf of the employers.
