Support for Employers

Facing a transition can be associated with uncertainty and concern, raising many questions both before and during the process. Therefore, Omstella offers you as employer support before, during, and after your transition. With a deeper understanding of how the transition process works it becomes more secure for everyone involved. We also provide support to employees affected by redundancies and to those who remain employed.

Support for Employers 

In order to create security before and during a transition process, we offer various types of support to you as an employer representative. Our support includes: 

  • A presentation of the support we provide for you and your employees, regarding both those who need to leave the organisation and those who will remain. 
  • Support for questions and concerns regarding the redundancy process. 
  • Seminars or webinars in three stages, with each session varying in length from 1 to 4 hours. These activities lay the foundation for: 
    • Increased insight and understanding of the transition journey you are about to embark on, along with practical advice on planning and activities. 
    • Tools to manage various reactions within the organisation that often accompany a transition. 
    • Tips and advice on how to plan and conduct termination talks for both you and the employee being made redundant, including both theory and practical training.

Support for Employees

We support your dismissed employees as well as your currently employed staff in progressing their careers. They may have the opportunity to receive advice, financial compensation, and skill support. They can also gain access to various services such as a job search portal and tools for writing CVs and cover letters. Employees can receive support until the month before they turn 66 years old. 

 

About the Application 

In order for the employee to receive support from us at Omstella, an application is required. The application process for receiving Omstella's support varies depending on whether the individual has been made redundant or is currently employed. 

In the case of redundancy, it is you as the employer who applies for support for the made redundant employee, and then the employee confirms the details. Applications from both the employer and the redundant employee must be submitted to Omstella within two years after the last day of employment for support to be granted. 

A currently employed employee applies for support from us without involving you as the employer.
