We are here for you, whether you have a clear idea of your next step in your career or if you need to reflect and explore how to best ensure your continued competitiveness and employability in the job market. Together with Omstella’s experienced advisers and career counsellors, you will have the best conditions to meet an exciting new future.
Expert advice
Omstella offers personal guidance to those who have been made redundant due to redundancy or illness, or to those who have had a fixed-term employment contract that is ending. You will be assigned an experienced advisor who will stand by you throughout your journey towards your future career. Together, you will evaluate your skills and abilities, as well as explore possible career paths that can lead to your dream job or another interesting employment opportunity that meets the needs of the job market.
We assist you in creating inspiring and structured CVs and cover letters that enhance your chances of being called for an interview. You can also receive help with interview and presentation techniques, as well as improving your presence on professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn. If you are considering starting your own business, you will also receive guidance throughout that process.
Study and Career Guidance
The study career guidance consists of dialogues where we together clarify your decision-making process, strategies to progress in your career, and provide guidance on educational training that aligns with your interests and goals. The discussions help you navigate towards your objectives, taking into account your individual circumstances and the opportunities on the job market.
We can also assist with:
- A formal opinion for CSN if you wish to apply for, or have already applied for, CSN's student finance for transition and retraining.
- Validation of your skills.
- Identifying training opportunities that are not available within the regular education system.
Extended Transition Support
If you have specific needs due to health issues, you may receive extended transition support. This support aims to provide you with the opportunity to seek new employment, start your own business, or study based on your own work capacity. This may include:
- More frequent advisory meetings.
- Assistance in contacting authorities such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan), and your unemployment benefit insurance fund.
- Support meetings with a psychologist or therapist.
Satisfaction Guarantee
When you are granted support from Omstella, you are assigned an experienced advisor who will stand by your side throughout your journey towards your future career. We want you to always feel satisfied with the guidance we offer—therefore, you always have the right to change your advisor at Omstella. You can do this by emailing kontakt@omstella.se.
